The discarded original chapter 18. I didn't like how random Galian's appearance was, I wanted it more suspenseful.

Might as well make use of this journal.

Here's the original, unfinished chapter 1 of Journey, so I can delete it from my fic folder. I figured it'd be fun for you to see how I had initially started the story. I didn't like how quickly Cid was becoming interested in Vincent, so I re-wrote it.

Ugh, I feel like shit. I've come down with a cold, which I got from London. London hates me. Anyway, here's some old evo oekakis and sketches.

More this wayCollapse )

...powers, I would have superspeed. I thought about it when I was driving home, and I love speed, love running. I'd love to run so fast I could go anywhere.. and eat loads. I mean, Pietro always has a manical grin on his face when he's running. He's high on adrenaline and speed power... Oh well, just have to make do with my car, haha.

Here's a work in progress:

Snapped it just as the song changed, got that black box in view now. Too lazy to snap it again. Im finally getting back into good old pen and paper - unfortunately I started this pic on this horrible slippery paper that you really can't erase or even color on, so I scanned it and am gonna finish it digitally. Putting my tablet aside, I'd doing this entirely with the mouse and pen tool. Go me.

That's All by Genesis - awesome song, I love listening to this on a sunny day in the car.

Chyna Girl by Sweetbox - this I love very much, this singer is awesome.

The Slayers Elegy, Buffy TVS soundtrack - it's only a couple of minutes long, but it's one of my favorite instrumental peices, and they placed it at an amazing scene in the episode 'The Wish'. It has a sad/sorrowful tone to it, I absolutely loved the scene, even though the main character died, that's what made it so great.

Title after the episode of X Files I'm watching. Got m' whole set ready to be watched again. Though why I'm watching them at midnight when I'm as knackered as hell is beyond me.

Note: Australian Soft Eating Liquorice (Rasberry flavour) is so very tasty, mainly for the fact it doesn't taste anything like real liquorice - blah, horrible stuff.

I'm moving house again, go me - I think this is the 14th time. Moving back to the town I came from. Haven't seen the new house yet but it sounds nice. Be just me and Mum, so I've gotta pull my weight for the rent - which brings me to my next subject: work. Got my old job back, but not nearly as much hours as I need. I gots ta find me a full time job when I move.

I'd leave you with some more songs but I haven't the energy to even pick out some favs and upload them... *drags her ass off to bed*

Contents: Rant, news, weather, songs.

First up, rant, by all means skip if you hate reading about pathetic problemsCollapse )

Weather - it snowed today, loooook:Collapse )
What a dead wasteland, heh. The lake looks so much better in summer with trees that look alive... and hiding the quarry from view. But the snow added a nice white beauty - that I didn't quite catch here - to the beach and fields.

News - in the field on the side of the dirt track, that leads down to the lake, live a fair few horses. Their owner was a woman who had rescued them, she came down every day and night for them. Yesterday we heard she had died in her sleep. Just like that. She was 34 I think, and it was a brain seizure. That's just wrong, don't you think? How out-of-the-blue. For now, my dad's friend is looking after the horses until someone decides what to do with them. It's such a shame...

Now for songs:
Random picks of my library that I love.
As the World Falls Down by David Bowie (from The Labyrinth)
Shattered Dreams by Johnny Hates Jazz(it's an 80s song, yay for oldies)
Invinsible by Pat Benatar (another 80s)
Tarzan Boy by Baltimora (from the 3rd TMNT movie :))
Are You Ready For This? by Jock Jams

I haven't been able to find any job yet since I moved. Asked shit loads of stores, but they gave me the same 'it's January, you won't find many places'. Crap. I applied for the two jobs who were asking for people, but so far no word. My fingers are still crossed. At this point I don't care what it is, I need the money. Lesson number one thousand and whatever: never move home after Christmas.

Here's some unfinished crap I found in my art folder that I started ages ago and haven't touched sinceCollapse )

That's my yapping for the day. Peace.

Note: Chocolate rice crispy cakes rule over all food... except french bread... and mint.
